AACORN launched Critical Transformations to foster idea generation and to provide individuals the opportunity to interact with likeminded thinkers and doers. The blog is open to the public, but we do have a set of rules to ensure that blog postings and comments are a beneficial resource for all users. Materials presented in the blog are the opinions and preferences of the author. In addition all the opinions expressed by blog users are strictly the users' individual views and beliefs, unless otherwise stated and are not commissioned by the Network. By accessing, creating or contributing to this blog, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. User Behavior

   AACORN does not verify, endorse or in any way take responsibility for information or claims made by individuals who choose to post a comment. Blog Users will be responsible for the content of their comments, and the consequences of their comments.

   AACORN's website administrator does not actively moderate or prescreen statements posted to the blog. AACORN Blog Users should not use the blog to send or post any message or material that is unlawful, copyrighted, harassing, defamatory, threatening, harmful, vulgar, profane, intentionally inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature or that gives rise to civil liability or that violates any state, federal, or international law. AACORN's website administrator reserves the right to delete any such material from blog postings.

   AACORN Blog Users agree not to post or use the blog or Network's name to distribute, store or send any illegal material of any kind, including but not limited to, illegal material in the form of text, graphics, video, programs or audio; commercial or personal advertisements, solicitations, promotions, destructive programs (viruses or self-replicating code), political information, mass mailings, hyperlinks, files, images or software in violation of a license agreement or copyright; or any other unauthorized material. Posting content or participating in any form of discussion with the intention to commit any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

   AACORN Blog Users agree not to post statements that demean others on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, class, religion, disability, sexual preference or other information that may cause humiliation or embarrassment to the diverse population of users or information that interferes with the blog's intent.

   AACORN Blog Users agree not to impersonate any other person or entity, whether actual or fictitious, including impersonating another individual associated with the Network.

2. Network Conditions of Liability and Confidentiality Practices

   AACORN will not be accountable for any damages or harm occurring from the ability or lack of ability to operate this site. The Network reserves the right at any time to modify the terms and conditions of the blog. Blog Users are required to review the terms and conditions on a continual basis. The Network will be free of liability due to user negligence to comply with terms and conditions.

   Personal information shared with the Network when registering to access the blog will not be shared with outside sources, unless required by law.

   Individuals must assume responsibility for all statements and abide by the risk taken when consenting to participate in this blog. AACORN's website administrator reserves the right to terminate your participation if they become aware and determine, in their sole discretion, that you are in violation of these guidelines. When registering to participate in this blog you are consenting to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions stated above, please do not participate.
